Masonry cleaners are used to remove mortar stain and most job site contaminates.  There are various types of masonry cleaners and attention should be given in selecting the proper cleaner based on the material to be cleaned. Strict adherence to the instructions on the label of the various cleaners must be enforced.

The use of masonry sealers is a great preventative maintenance measure.   It is important that sealers used on masonry veneer systems are “breathable”,  allowing water vapor to move in and out of the system while preventing water penetration.The two primary manufacturers represented areAHI Supply and ProSoCo.  Other products can be supplied upon request.
